The Challenge
Building on a coastal site required hurricane-resistant design rated for Category 5 wind loads. The foundation had to account for high water tables and saltwater corrosion, while the aesthetic demanded light, airy spaces that felt connected to the ocean.
The Solution & Execution
Our structural team engineered a reinforced concrete frame with impact-resistant glazing and sacrificial cladding zones designed to absorb extreme weather events without compromising the primary structure.
